Limping Cat - FAQ's

My cat came home yesterday limping. I'm concerned he was hit.

Most cats which been in a car accident have frayed tips to their claws, due to friction on the road. If lameness persists into the next day, allow us to check your cat over. Most lamenesses in cats are due to infected bite wounds, some are injuries and a few are the result of car accidents. Look out for the old cat whose claws overgrow then curve round and grow into the cat's foot pads.
